Which route should I take? It just kill me to pay them any more. Going back to July 2009 they have deposited $1200 and I have paid $2512.

I am interested in any responses to this, because one of my loans is similar. They loaned 300, I owe them 300 plus the 100 fee next friday, but my account will be closed before then. But over the course of the past year, I have loaned from them every two weeks, and paid them 2600 in fees alone easily. I didn't know they were illegal either until I started this process, and I am refusing to pay them another dime because 1-they're illegal, 2- i've been overcharged for a year.

I have had at least 4 loans with this company over the past 2 years. I have always paid on time and have paid at least double on every loan I've ever had. This is all before I learned they're illegal. So, on the one hand I could say I still owe them $210. Or I could go another and say I've paid you $90 directly related to this loan and if you add all the other money you've gotten from me in the past two years I'm still overpaid. who is the pdl?that will help us help you further on this as if it is a bottomfeeder then yes you can try to get a PIF at least based on your numbers, but it would depend on the pdl itself.
SpotOn, who was RBT. This is my first go now that it's SpotOn.

I used that strategy with US Fast Cash. I explained to them that I had overpaid on previous loans, gave them the dates of the withdrawals from my account, and told them I wanted those overpayments credited to the current account, which would make the account PIF. They argued with me for a week or so, then gave in. They didn't refund me anything but I got the PIF and didn't have to pay anything else.
I would explain to them that they, in fact, owe you money and ask for a refund and a PIF. It's worth a shot.

oh boy, another "tribal immunity" loan.sorry, but from my scorecard you owe them nothing based on all the illegal $$ in fees they collected.however being as they are a "tribal immunity"pdl they will claim because of that you owe alot more on your existing loan.btw these places have several d/b/a's and unless you close your current account they will go in and debit under another name.i would file the usual complaints.AG,FTC,and BBB against this pdl asap.then if you haven't close that account asap.again you owe them nothing in my eyes.

Well the account was closed as part of the four that were paid in full way over what the principal was. I had three left. Yesterday when I talked to her I didn't actually admit to owing it, I asked about options and when/how according to them I could pay it back without giving them any banking information. She said prepaid card, when I said I've never done that what about an address for a money order she said call back on the 1st (when I get paid again) and we can talk about it. I did not however actually agree to anything.
So it seems that you both think I should send the Illegal PDL letter to SpotOn and basically say look I know you're illegal, you've over charged me on previous loans, those overpayments should satisfy this loan, mark it paid in full and leave me the h*ck alone?

First time I sent it as a .pdf attachment. She asked if I was sending in new payment information as she couldn't open it. Then I sent it was a .TIF attachment which if they have windows, will open. If they don't respond by noon tomorrow I am cutting and pasting it into an e-mail body.
