I received a message from a fraud investigator with PCS fraud department. I called them back and was told that Payday Yes had issued papers and was suing me for fraud for a bad check. I didn't understand how an internet pdl company could sue for a bad check when I didn't write a check. The gentleman stated that they received records from my bank and it proved the monies were deposited in my account on 8/28/08, but he didn't tell me the amount. He stated he could get approval for $317.00 and they would waive the outstanding fees. I know that the pdls have to be licensed in SC to be deemed legal. Can they change from loans to check fraud? Has anyone heard of PCS? The number is 1-877-309-8870. I don't want to speak to something that will have more collection agencies coming after me.

Is there any 'template' so to speak for filing complaints? Thanks to this forum I have been able to identify which loans I can budget to pay and have called to make payment arrangements with all 7 of them, and which ones are completely illegal, all 11 of them. I have sent out emails to all (and faxed to CreditProtectionDepot as I have loans with MyCashNow, Paydaymax, and Discountadvances and I haven't been able to find an email address that will work), but I am not getting the results I want and don't intend for my threat to file complaints to be just words. But I have absolutely no idea how to word it. Any ideas?
I am so thankful that I found this. I was so over my head I couldn't even function. I would get paid evey two weeks and have to get another loan as soon as I would pay one off just to cover what was coming out..constantly juggling them, it was exhausting. But right before the 10th, when I was searching online for some kind of miracle, I found this forum. I can breathe again, and I know things will work out. It's like a thousand pound weight off my shoulders. I feel better that I'm not alone in getting sucked in. All it took in my case is one big financial emergency, and it just grew like a disease.

There isn't a template that I know of for filing a complaint, just be short and concise and state the facts, you really should use your own words when filing complaints anyway. :)

If you go to the webpage for the SC Attorney General there is an online complaint form you can fill out. It is pretty specific, so just put in all the details. I would also check with the Department of Financial Institutions as they likely have an online complaint form as well. The FTC also has an online complaint format that walks you through it. Just tell them all the details of whats happened - make sure you have any contact info you have for the PDL company. Hope this helps!
