It's best to be clear with him on such matters. If you explain to him calmly, I am sure he will listen and understand. Mistakes are done by everybody and should be forgiven. Make sure you don't repeat the mistakes again.

trust me! i was afraid to tell my husband what was going on with our accounts and our debt and that got me into a deeper hole i couldn't handle no more, until reality forced me to tell the truth!! Just tell him straight out and your reasons why, if he loves you, he will understand you and help you! just think about it what's the worst that can happen, oh well if he don;t understand you then he needs help! don't be scared, telling the truth was the best thing that happened to me! we're are now dealing with my debt together.
