I obtained 4 internet payday loans after my state (Arizona) law went into effect on 6/29/2010, making it illegal for payday loan lenders to operate in Arizona.
The 4 companies I have loans with are:

Are these internet lenders legal here in Arizona? If so, I have read Shazzers updated post from 7/14/2010 on dealing with unlicensed payday lenders and I would like to proceed with those steps if any of the lenders I have listed are illegal.
Thanks.

The only legal lender you have is FBDLoans, they are a bank and not a payday lender, so they aren't required to follow the payday loan laws. I would still close my bank account though, just inform them (FBDLoans) that you needed to close your account due to some illegal activity on it and aren't going to open a new one, therefore you will need to make payments via the mail. Also make sure you file complaints with your attorney general's office, you can do so online, please file complaints with the BBB and FTC too. Keep us posted. :)

Thanks for that information. I would like to keep my bk acct open though because of my bankruptcy last year it was difficult to even open a new bank account. I have contacted my bank, explained the illegal loans and they have put a hard debit block on my account. I will now send the pdl's the emails and then finish that up with the complaints. I'll keep you posted as things do or don't happen.
