Does anyone know anything about the company Payday Loan Debt Assistance? Or Progressive Debt Relief? They are both out of Florida.

I had 7 internet pdls and 2 storefront loans. The total was $3,500. I checked into a couple of consolidation companies and 1 wanted $1,600 in fees and the other $1,700 in fees alone. Why pay someone for something you can do? The money these companies wanted in fees would go along way in paying off your pdls. So, I decided to go it alone. With the great information on this forum, and the moderators and others answering questions promptly, it is easy to do it yourself. I am now down to 3 internet loans and 1 storefront that I am still working with.

Before you commit to a debt relief company provide us with more information, we may be able to help you plan a course of action without paying someone else to do it for you, also, if any of your loans were obtained on the Internet the chances are pretty high that they may be illegal loans:
-Names of each pdl company.
-Whether they are store front or Internet.
-How much you borrowed.
-How much you paid so far.
-The state in which you reside.

Hi... I currently have four pdl and I don't know what to do. I can't keep wasting away my pay check but I also don't have the money to just pay them all off at once. I'm not sure if anyone else can help or not. I feel so trapped! I've considered using Payday Freedom or Progressive Debt Relief but I'm not sure. None of my loans are defualted on as of yet. I have three store fronts and one internet loan.
The internet loan is for 836$ and it's thru Greenpicket.com
I also have the store front loans - Quick Cash for 540$, Advance America for 550$ and Purpose Money for 540$.
IF anyone has any advice for me, I'd really appreciate it! I get paid this Friday and I'm really trying to get out of this cycle!!

Your store front lenders may offer and extended payment plan, I know for sure that Advance America does, go into the store and request the EPP plan, the interest stops as soon as you sign up for it, then you will pay it off in 4 separate payments and be done with it. I am not sure about the other two lenders but would be willing to bet they will also offer an EPP.

I too live in Ohio and had a loan through Advance America (Storefront). They will make payment arrangements with you. Don't talk to the store, but talk to their corporate office. At least in my case, corporate office was more helpful and willing to work with me.

I had a total of 10 pdl's, 2 online and 8 storefront. I was putting out over $800 every two weeks on these. I enrolled with Pay Day Loan Debt Assistance and now pay $226.46 every two weeks. Needless to say I am esctatic!!! One of the online loans was settled within 2 weeks and one of the storefronts was settled just last week. I am very happy with this program. Sure they're going to make some money off me but what merchant doesn't make money off you? All I know is that I'm very pleased with the job they are doing for me. I check their rating with the BBB and their rating is a B-. That rating is based mostly on how long they've been around (a little over 3 years) and the fact that they have not certified with the BBB (which brings a business' rating down).

Let us know, a year from now, when offshore collectors start calling you and threatening to take you to jail, harrassing you at work, etc. if you're still ecstatic.

No kidding. :p

i tried a debt consolidation company called relief llc and they almost scammed me said they would not do anything until month 3 once i gave them almost a 1000 dollars by them that will just be interest fees anyway.

i tried a debt management company where i could control my saving and what my lenders will receive as payment and i set my own budget to pay on my terms
they verified my lenders and sent out all the formal complaints to dispute my debt and valid legit lenders

try Link Removed per Terms of Service they have no monthly fees and i started with a partial payment

That's 2 strikes. If I see you post another one of these solicitations, I will delete your post completely and have you banned for solicitation. ~OG
