Hi everyone,
This company reputable? I have been dealing with them for 2 weeks now and have had nothing but problems. I made a payment agreement on debt that is within the sol and told them I needed a week to come up with the money for they're "one time offer" of a lower settlement, I called back 2 days later to make a payment and the number they gave me was turned off...just got a busy signal for days! Once the week was up they called from a different number and said time up and the one time offer was gone, I told them I couldn't get through on their phone # and was told "I don't know anything about that...different dept" but now the settlement is this much. I pretty much told them no way and promptly hung up!
Seem like fair business practices? I am in the process of sending a c&d letter and already sent the FOAD email. So I answer my own question, this company is not reputable and does nothing but makes threats of court and lawsuits and plays games. I only owe $1400 and highly doubt they'll sue me for that and if they do...owell but I figured I'd let everyone know the crap they pulled with me so if you have contact with them you'll be prepared!
