Has anyone ever used Payday Loan Debt Assistance? I saw a thread where people had used PDL Assistance and Langhorn (?), so was just curious. I talked to them today and it seems that they can help but I'm still a little nervous. I am going to close my bank account though...and hope they don't re-open it when an ACH comes through like they did last time! Thanks, Karen

i found this board looking for info on langhorne. i heard mixed reviews and learned for me it was easier and cheaper to do it myself, which i did :)
what state are you in, where did you borrow, how much was borrowed how much was paid back? you may not even legally owe anymore!

I'm in MO.
Zip 19 - $485 (they take $582 as full payment each time and then I have to get a reloan...to pay on other ones!
PayDayOne - $500 loan, paid at least $450
Urgent Cash - $500 loan, paid at least $450
CashNet USA - $500 loan, paid $450
Pay1Day - 4 loans that total about $600 and I pay $135 every payday for a LOOOONNNGGGG time! CRAP!

They all just took money out from this check today so I'm going to try to close my account this weekend or the beginning of next week.

Should I close my account before talking to the "legal" lenders? How do they allow you to pay it back on an EPP? I probably can't afford to pay 3 of them off in 4 payments! Thanks for all your help!
