I got a loan from USFastcash.com for $400. They have been taking out $120 every two weeks. I thought I understood how this worked but apparently I don't.

After five payments of $120, which was the fee, starting 10/15 they will be taking out $170.00, which is the $120 plus the $50 principal. I thought after the five payments I would ONLY be paying the $50 biweekly after that.

When I click on my account I have a choice to pay the $170 or $50 principal. So if I click on the 50, is that all they will take out? And if it is, does it just go on forever?

I just don't get it and yes I was stupid for doing it. I live in Missouri.

They just sent me an email saying that I yes I have paid $120 five times and now I am to pay the $120 admin fee PLUS the $50 until my $400 loan is paid in full. Umm...excuse me? So I fired back a reply that I was aware that they are illegal in my state and since I had paid over and above my original loan amount by $200, that I would considered my loan paid in full and that I was closing my bank account and contacting my state attorney general AND my personal attorney. Now..I am not due to pay again until 10/15 so will wait a bit to see if/how they answer this email. Do I really have to close my bank account though if they don't respond?

It's the only way to guarantee that your money is safe. Once they have access to your account, they try all kinds of crazy things to get at your money. As Paul said, you should ALWAYS secure your account before notifying these people that you're cutting them off. Do NOT be surprised if they send an ACH to your account for the full $520.

hit post too soon, lol. I called the bank to make sure and there wasn't even an attempt. The bank closed my account but did say that it could be forced open even though I requested a block numerous times, they said they could not do that for 30 days. I sent the letter you all have posted here with my info and have not heard from USFast Cash since. I did try to log in to my account on the web and it has been deactivated. So I think it worked???? If so I am saving $170 biweekly for God knows how long, thanks to you good people here. This site should be on the national news or something!!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

I posted an update a little bit ago but don't see it?Anyway, they did not try to debit the closed account so thanks to this website I am now saving $170 biweekly. I had sent the letter you all have here as a template and filled in my info and sent it to USFast Cash. I never got an answer and when I tried to login to my account it showed it was deactivated. So it looks like, so far, that it was a success. Thank you!
