I beat them! They were bluffing!

I just beat LVNV funding in court. They claimed I owed almost $4,000 but wouldn't provide any proof even though I requested it at least twice. In the court, I called their bluff. When they couldn't produce proof the case was dismissed! Didn't even take 5 minutes and I was on my way home.
It seems were hoping I just wouldn't show up and they would just get a default judgment. Their lawyer sure looked shoked when I did. It seems to me that a lot of it is just bluff.

Congratulations. Seems the CAs will do anything to collect.....
Congratulations. Seems the CAs will do anything to collect..... I'm suing one for collection violations. If everyone fought back, maybe they'd clean up their act.

so true, but alot of these places end up settling"out of court".they call it"the cost of doing business".that is where someone needs to press these matters to a"class action",then these places will take a hit.like MANN BRACKEN for example.
