I took out two intenet payday loans earlier this summer back in June. I have made some payments on both, but I defaulted because, I wasn't able to make a payment in about a month. Each company made multiple debits out of my accoutn until the bank had to close out the account. I called the payday loan companies and advised them that my bank had closed out my checkign account, but I want to still pay out these loans in full because, I'm afraid of this negative activity my refelct on my credit report. Thus, both companies agreed and I have made the proper payment arrangements to pay the loan out in full. Now, I am receiving threathening phone calls from these indian guys. They are calling me at work and on my cell phone. They said they represent the law firm name John Smith Attorneys at Law 213-286-0295. He's trying to collect a debt on a payday internet loan from Quickloans.com and they are going to download my case this afternoon and come on my job and have me arrested. First of all, I never borrowed money from Quickpay.loans. I have no idea whom these people are. They just call my cell phone and job on Friday. 10/1/10 for the first time. They have called twice today and each time I asked to speak with John Smith or else the office manager they get irrate with me and said they are going to have me arrested. I then asked them what state are they calling from and to please provide me with Mr. Smith's Bar Number so I can look him up online, they representative tells me that I will be arrested and so will my friends that try to assist me and they hang up. Please advise me on what I need to do. Thanks
