You don't need to go to the AG, at least in Florida. Florida provides for a private right of action against debt settlement companies. There are attorneys that specialize in suing these outfits. You need to find one and see if you have a case.

A group of us who were ripped off by one have submitted informat
A group of us who were ripped off by one have submitted information to the CA AG. It's been a long time in the works but there is an investigation/warrant in progress. I have not been instrumental in heading it up so am unclear on how it was all submitted but it can be done. Don't know if we will recover anything at all.
