Since everyone here has been so helpful, I want to try to return the favor by posting my experiences with each illegal lender in the hopes of helping current and future readers of this forum.

Discount Advances

Yesterday, Oct 6, 2010, I closed out my bank account. Today, I sent "the letter" to [email]support@discountadvances.com[/email] (found the address on this forum).
I just got a response that there is difficulty delivering my message, but it hasn't failed yet.

Any advice?


No reply yet from [email]support@discountadvances.com[/email] I can still log into my account, and nothing there has changed. I attempted to email [email]support@creditprotectiondepot.com[/email] and got a undeliverable message from [email]postmaster@Terenine.com[/email].
I seem to be able to email both [email]customerservice@discountadvances.com[/email] and [email]inquiries@creditprotectiondepot.com[/email] (found their website: creditprotectiondepot.com and that was the email listed) Yall should really go see the nonsense they spew there....they are "Committed to increasing the well-being of the less fortunate" HA!

This morning when I tried to log in, the website says "We apologize for the inconvenience. In order to obtain information regarding your account, please contact us at 1-866-645-1661". I have emailed "the letter" again, this time stating if I do not hear from them today regarding my PIF letter and refund, I will contact the Attorney General, FTC and BBB tomorrow.

No word from these bottomfeeders yet. I have sent "the letter" again, and adding the following to the top of the letter:
"Since I have yet to receive a "paid in full" letter or my refund, and haven't heard any response from you regarding this matter by the end of business yesterday, I am now taking further action as mentioned in my original letter below. I highly recommend that you contact me asap. I will be communicating with you again later today with copies of the letters I have sent.

Please find my original letter AGAIN below. You may only contact me via email or snail mail."

I am now off to file complaints with my Attorney General, the FTC and the BBB.

Just got a call back from the BBB in New Mexico saying that this company is out of business and they cannot pursue my complaint. The address I have is:
1129 Vassar Dr NE
Albuquerque, NM 87106
but I see another address in the BBB listing of:
130, 918 - 16 Avenue NW
Calgary, AB T2M 0K3
Should I try to send my complaint again via that address?
