You generally have 45 days to bring your account current before it will be close and reported to ChexSystems. Once you're reported your other account may be in jeopardy. If your other account is in good standing, it's unlikely it will be affected.

when its reported to Chexsystems can i fill a form to dispute the filing against me

As far as I know, you can dispute any type of loan anywhere. It's your right to ask the creditors to validate the debt.

Many banks will report to chexsystems as soon as any NSF activity occours on an account. Other banks will wait until the account is closed and charged off. All banks are different and yes it is your right to dispute and also place a statement on your report if you choose.

Can they place it with a credit card collection agency even though i am working with someone to pay off the debt

If you are paying then as agreed then there is really no reason for them to turn it over to a CA

yes i think i am on the right path but worried JP Morgan Chase will come after me for the $ 1,400.00 in overdraft fees and other things. I went to their website today and the account was not there. Just hope it is closed and hopefully they(payday lenders) won't come after me when they realize the account has been officially closed.

just viewed my report and the only thing reporting is Chase which is 30 days past due.

Chase also reports to EWS, not just chexsystems

does that mean the checking account would be reported to EWS

we just received a letter from Chase saying we owe 1,454.13. What do we do now. They have also reported us to Chexsystem. How can we fight this as it is all cause by the foreign companies getting a hold of the account

wrote to an executive at Chase and they want to talk now that the account is closed and we are left to pay back the overdrawn amount of 1,454.13 including the closing fee. What should i do. Call the man at Chase

I would call the bank and see if they can help you lower those NSF fees down some. I had some reduced for me before. They can do this for you if you plan to pay a certain amount by a certain day to eliminate the debt with the bank.

got a letter today from I.C. Systems, INc for the overdrawn checking account due to payday loan lenders what do we do. They want to collect the money which we do not have and i am living and working paycheck to paycheck. And i am barely paying all my debts and bills i have per month.

Yes most banks will close,charge off an account, and turn it over to collections at some point if the account stays negative
