Will only paying the illegal lenders the principal amount affect your credit? I'm just wondering if anyone has had experience with the illegal ones reflecting negatively on your credit report. Thanks.

Illegal lenders do not report to the CRAs. But if they do it, you can dispute it and have it removed.
