I have signed up with a Debt Reduction Company who is handling my credit card debt. Recently I and some of my family have started to receive calls. If I write a Cease and Desist letter, do these calls have to stop by law? Please help feeling bad for family. Also I have received nothing in the mail from them.

Credit card companies and CA do not have to participate in debt programs...it is done in voluntary cooperation. Your debt program should have told you that. Creditors still have a right to contact you. Maybe you should call?
