Hi everyone, I was recently contacted by a collection agency called Sullivan and Randolph regarding a loan with BMG. I should start out that first I was left a voicemail by a female from Sullivan and Randolph claiming that she was an investigator and I needed to contact them regarding a wire fraud charge, and if I didnt I was going to court for a felony charge. Which of course I know is compleate B.S. A while ago I had a ton of loans out, I paid them all. The ones that were not licensed in my state (Minnesota) I paid what I owed plus a lot extra, at which point I sent out letters advising them they were illegal and had been overpaid. I did not ask for a refund, as I considered it a lesson learned, but advised them they were not licensed and therfore in Minnesota the contract was null and void, in fact according to MN law I could have pursued a refund but chose not to. Anyway every now and then a low life collection agency will pop up with threats, but a validation letter usually takes care of them, because of course they dont have a leg to stand on. So Sullivan and Randolph contacted me regarding a loan for $500.00 with BMG that I supposedly took out in 2007, I have looked through all my records and cannot seem to find that I took out a loan with BMG, Obviously BMG is more than likely an unlicensed lender, or perhaps this agency is creating a company to see if I am dumb enough to pay them no questions asked. But my question is if anyone knows any AKA's that BMG could have been operating as in 2007, or is operating as now. Any address and phone numbers would be helpful as well. Thanks in advance :)

From experience, I know that BMG also goes by: Summit Group LLC, SSM Group, SSM/SJM. The only phone number I had for them is (866)463-2130.

Hope this helps.

Thank you! I did file complaints with the BBB, FTC, and both the Attorney General of North Carolina (where sullivan and randolph claim to be from) and the Attorney General of Minnesota. They did respond to the BBB and told me of course that my accusations were malicious and without cause, but stated they were returning the file back to their client, BMG. Thanks Again :)
