I sent out PFD to 4 different collection agencies several months ago and have not gotten a response. I then sent out Debt Validation Letters Last Week (10/5/2010) via certified mail. What should I do next if I do not hear anything from them? How long should I give them? In the letter I told them they have 15 days.

A collection agency does not have to validate or do pay for deletes. There is nothing in the law that requires them to do so and a lot dont. However, they cannot continue to collect until they do so.

15 days may not be reasonable. If an account is being worked 3rd party, a request has to go to the client and then research has to be done, copies made and then mailed back. It does take time and since you are not a paying customer, doing this legwork is not their first priority.
