Need help consolidating my payday loans

Thanks for links, this is some very useful information, I've already opened the new account at a new bank and I've transferred my direct deposit over, now I'm just waiting for the last of my legit debit transactions to post to the "Infected" account so I can go into the branch and see what I can do for me.

Now I'm just wondering if I should continue at this on my own; or if I should get a consolidation company involved?

I've spoken with 3 different consolidation companies already: Destination Debt Solutions, PDL Assistance and Langhorne (I think that was the name of the company) and none of them made me feel at all like it was anything other then just another scam..

I'm supposed to be speaking with someone from Oak View tomorrow so I guess we'll see what happens.

Hmm..you seem to be in some pretty tricky waters if you're waiting for some legitimate debits to go through. I would go to the bank today and ask them to block all ACH from the illegal lenders...keep in mind, that will probably only buy you a few days of breathing room, as they will just start hitting your account under a new name, and probably for the full amount due. Close out your account ASAP, or at least get it set to deposit only as soon as you possibly can. How much have you paid each company? It is possible you don't owe any more money to some of them, or are even due a refund.

The charges I'm waiting to fully post to my account will do so tonight, and the PDL/Lenders aren't due to attack my accounts until next week Friday. I'm all over my accounts and have already set up a time to speak with the branch manager tomorrow, so I think I'm ok with regards to the bank.

In answer to your question, I definitely still owe on these loans however, I just did the math and these are my numbers::

*zip19 takes the loan amount plus interest on the day that it becomes due, so deducting the loan amount (300.00, 600.00 and 1000.00 x2) the $539.46 is the total interest I've paid.

Thanks for the encouragement! I think I will try this on my own, because I spoke with the person from Oak View today and I was completely floored at how completely unprofessional and uninformative this individual was.

I've gotten better help/guidance/information from these forums and the internet as a whole, that I feel confident that I will be able to get this done.

Oh good news about your bank account. I was worried these illegal lenders would get their hands on your money before you could put a stop to it.
Yes, forget the debt consolidation companies, esp considering these are ALL illegal loans. When the companies start to harass you (and they will) tell them you now know they are illegal, and if they want you to pay the principal back that you still owe, that they will have to provide you with a physical address you can mail a money order to...then do so on YOUR terms. You can do this!
