I just received the following email from SSM Group stating the following:

CONFIDENTIAL GENERAL RELEASE AND SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT[FONT="][/FONT]

WHEREAS, xxxxxxx, the undersigned claimant, is making claim against SSM GROUP, L.L.C., and their related companies for monetary damages arising out of an ACH loan transaction which she claim renders SSM GROUP, L.L.C., and their related companies liable to her; and

WHEREAS, SSM GROUP, L.L.C. and their related companies have refused and still refuses payment of said claims and deny that they are in any way liable to xxxxxxxxx for any sum whatsoever so that a dispute exists between the parties hereto, which dispute the parties hereto have now agreed to settle, adjust and compromise upon the terms in this Confidential General Release and Settlement Agreement as set forth herein; and

NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the said compromise of the matters above recited, and of the sum of Three Hundred and Fifty DOLLARS ($350.00), receipt of which sum and/or draft in compromise of said dispute is hereby acknowledged, the undersigned does hereby

Does this mean they are offering me 350 to settle the matter? I just want to be sure I am not signing something that will get me in deeper with them then i already am.

Good for you, I only got a PIF from them and no refund, they also wanted my paper notarized, so I did get it notarized.
