need help

i work for a non profit and can't seem to pay my bills. which is funny because i teach people how to budget their money and pay bill. anyway, i've called a few credit card places and they won't lower my payments or rates or get help unless i lose my job or just don't pay them, i'm told i make too much money to apply for economic hardship but as of right now i have about $100 for the rest of the month.

Credit companies won't agree to lower your payments unless you miss some of your monthly payments. They should have the notion that you are unable to pay your bills. You should be delinquent for at least 90 days in order to get them to lower your payments.
