I have been receiving calls from about 8 different numbers (they all connect to RAMS if I dial them, which is how I figured this out). The problem is they keep looking for an "Angela Moore". This is my private cell phone and I've had the same number for over 2 years now. Yet they claimed they spoke to her on it a few days ago and verified her social security number. I'm tired of threatening voicemails (that do not give the appropriate amount of information) and the harrassment. They have called me over 20 times in the last two weeks or so. I told them that they have the wrong number, but that didn't stop them, they just started calling from a different phone number. On top of this, they are rude and hang up on me when I am telling them this. yet they call back as if they're going to magically each this woman (who may or may not exist as far as I know). What is the most appropriate action to take if they don't listen to calm reason?

Send them a Cease and Desist letter stating that you do not owe the debt and they should not contact you again for this.
