Emerson & Douglas Assoc. is a debt settlement company that was once under the name " KEYSTONE settlements." They have shifted different names for their company to remain under the radar from regulations and bad press. They are known for taking consumers money and not doing any work. They promise that they can settle your debt for less than what a consumer owes when in reality they set a consumer up to get sued, lose their assets, or even worse! They are known for gaining they trust of consumers and then paying a large fee within the entire HALF of their program ~ they are simple not prepared or licenced to handle such tough financial work. They are a small but scandalous company with only a few employees none of whom have any background in finance and none that have higher than a highschool level education.

This company is a SCAM! They will take your money and not deliver results. Please be on guard when speaking with anyone from this company.

I can agree tothis! I lost everything my house and car, they had me set up my own account and then took what i would be paying my cards and didn't pay them ANTYHIG! I have the companies callin me lookin for there money and i don't have it cause this scammer company took it all!

Wow. Good to hear about these new regulations. I hearsd about this same company from a co worker of mine, didn't treat that situation with care at all. She ended up quitting that program. What is going to change? Hopefully it will shut down this company and others like it so it can't hurt other families. There are other options that aren't that extreme and even so.. you can also contact a family attorney or someone you trust.
