Had you closed your checking account before, and asked them for a refund? If so, did you give them new checking information for the deposit? Good that you got the money but if it were me, I'd keep a close eye on my checking account if they have your account number, etc. (maybe I'm overcautious, but these companies go by so many different names and use so many underhanded tactics to get their money.....)

I was not able to close my account to begin with so yes I am nervous as hell - I couldn't close it because of something in checksys would not let me open a new one and it's whole tangled web but as of today (knock on wood) I sent the letters 9/18 and told them my acct was closed and they never tried to debit, but the bank says they will automatically reverse anything that comes through and tag it as fraud as long as I can prove I have paid them which I can so I keep minimal money in there and alot of cash on hand until I can figure out who put me on blast w/ checksys because I only have 1 bank acct. my whole life. Now I need to contact them for a PIF letter (jerks) lol I find it odd that they never contacted me 1 down w/ refund - 3 to go
