You should completely close your bank account because payday lenders will try different amounts to withdraw. You should file complaints with your State's Attorney General Office. I live in Ohio and my Attorney General Office was able to help me not only get a paid in full letter, but a refund for overpayment. Keep in mind, you only owe the principal balance.

I understand I only owe the principle balance but would that be considered in the high amount of interest payments I've made? Unfortunately closing the account right now is not an option. I have emailed and sent certified mail the ACH termination, revoke wage assignment and now I have to worry come my next payday that Great Sky is going to mess with my account again.
great sky cash are they legal

yes since they are not legal anything debited, and that means the interest goes toward the loan.so basically not only do you not owe,but they owe you a refund of the overpayment.please do as advised and close your account.then go to the sticky titled DEALING WITH ILLEGAL LENDERS.it will give you everything from template letters to wage assignment revocation letters.anything else we can further advise.

Right now I can't close my account. I'm working on that now but it will take some time. I have already emailed and revoked my ACH, wage assignment, and placed a block on my account. I filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office in the state I reside in AZ and South Dakota today as that is the location for them on my loan documents.

It sounds like you have pretty much covered yourself, just make sure you follow through on closing that account when it's possible.

I can't believe it! Not only did Great Sky credit $92.50 on my account last Fri after I revoked the ACH, they had the nerve to call my home and place of business today. They want to work the situation out. There is no situation, they owe me $625.00 in interest payments and I want it back. I sent them another email stating they had already been notified that all correspondence was to be done via email or US postal service but yet they called. How stupid are these people? I get this email that says we will conclude your last payment as cleared up. Nonsense, I will never accept anything like that. This company is a scam.

great sky cash review
Great Sky sent me an email last night, account paid in full as of Oct 25th, what a great customer I am, now I can apply for a higher loan amount and they look forward to hearing from me. What idiots!! I'm working on getting out from under the payday mess, not adding too it. I also received a letter from the AG in my state to confirm they are in receipt of my complaint, and that they are taking the necessary steps to contact Great SKy for their response. I'll let you know what happens. Buzzette
This 'Oh! you are a great customer' has really become old now. T
This 'Oh! you are a great customer' has really become old now. These illegal PDLs should invent new lines now. Buzzette, make it a point not to enter the PDL trap again. Best of luck2.
great sky cash scams
Paul, Never again will I be a victim of great sky cash scams! I was up against the wall with my husbands medical bills. Being diabetic is very expensive and with no medical coverage it has been hard. April of this year I was able to add him to my work insurance but unfortunately there is a one year waiting period but at least they will pay for his medications. I am working on being debt free and once my loan with thinkcash is paid I'm home free!!!

I know Buzzette. We all entered the PDL cycle when we were under extreme financial conditions. They come to us as God-send angels but in due time, take us to hell.

This is a great website. I was referred to Great Sky Cash by a friend who was just approved for a loan. After reading these complaints, I now feel sorry for him. I'll go to a local pawn shop and pawn a few items first. Then I'll ask friends to help. I only needed 300.00. I see now going to a PDL is a big mistake. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS WEBSITE it has truly opened my eyes.
Resolved
Did you get this situation resolved with Great Sky? I live in Georgia and in desperate times took out a loan. I have already paid back the principal plus some, but they won't stop calling. I called the AG office and they do not not acknowledge Great Sky being legal. I just wanted to know what you did to resolve it.
Great Sky was a big help to me & my family
ive had a loan with great sky cash & they helped me out tremendously. u have to be aware of the fees because the longer you take out the loan the more you're going to be paying in fees. but i payed my loan off as soon as possible. they always send me discounts off my fees to my email & those always are a big help. just be sure u read the agreement they make u sign & u wont be surprised by the fees!! hope this helped :)
you are either a fool,or a shill
well that was nice, but totally basic for either a fool or shill.btw since the loan is not legal in any state they can't charge fees, and have no business lending anyway.so good for you.you had your say,and alot of people scammed by them are insulted at your post.i know i am.buh-bye now.
This what happened to your loan
You took out a principle balance of $300 they charge a finance fee of $90 because everyone should know there is no such thing as a free loan.
You have two weeks to pay your full balance of $390 off on your next pay date.
If you don't have the money in two weeks they provide you an extension but it will cost you $90.
When they go and obtain the $90 if it returns as insufficient funds they assess a $30 NSF fee and a $30 late fee and you still owe the $90 for the extension. Total amount so far with fees is $150 keep in mind you still owe your principal balance of $390.
You are now in collections for the fees alone but your loan would still remain in good standing. They give you another opportunity to pay off your loan and if when they go obtain the $90 fee and it returns again for insufficient funds your entire loan falls into collections for ONLY $540.
The only way you could owe them $995 is if you took out a second loan. Read your contract thoroughly, if you pay your fees on time they give you a chance to take another loan out even if you didn't pay off the first one.
I used this company in the past and I demanded a fee breakdown sheet I was able to settle my account with them for a lower amount than I owed but I had to pay it all at once. If you don't pay you loan back they'll send your info off to check data systems and you will be listed as a bad check writer so being ambivalent to paying off a loan you took out is just plain ignorant, the benefits outweigh the consequences call them and offer a settlement.
wrong on all counts shill
first off "tribal loans"are illegal loans meaning they are not entitled to interest.second an ACH is not a check idiot therefore nobody can be reported as writing bad checks loser.next you can keep your long winded stupidity as you look like a fool as this place does nothing like you said.them being tribal don't give anything except illegal threats and abuse.btw i also don't believe your statement of using them.you work for this evil place.now back to the phones drone.if you want to lie do it there not here.
Lmao!!!
DRONE? Really did you come up with that on your own or are you a fanatic of Clockwork Orange?
I'm an idiot but your the one claiming you took out an "illegal loan" it wasn't illegal when they deposited money into your broke ass account now was it lol. Now that you owe your money you want to do your "due diligence" on the company, how come you didn't do that when you were desperate and needed cash before your pay day?
And before you start making statements do something called research, when you provide an ACH to make or receive payments it's consider an electronic check. If a company receives a bad check or a failed ACH transaction they can report you to check data systems it's even listed on the Check Data Systems website you imbecile.
As far as what my job entails trust me it doesn't include sitting on the phone nor behind a computer screen complaining about how I shouldn't pay a Payday Advance Loan I took out even though I signed an agreement......shows us just how much integrity you were raised with. (BTW when I took out ONE loan I was in my last year in med school to become a Physician's Assistant)
Sign up for idiots anonymous no one can help a simpleton such as yourself from your own credit destruction. Openly ambivalent to the debt and the creditors instead of the individual who ultimately made the decision to take out the loan....yes find a mirror and look at yourself ignoramus
don't believe you
since you are so smart learn to spell, and again great sky is illegal so quit shilling for them.btw i deleted all of your other posts on all other western sky threads.boy talk about a form reply.you take the cake.get yourself a life,or at least drop your bitter attitude towards it.either way get lost!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!btw your info on reporting bad checks is laughable at best as even in check data there has to be a physical check.one that came from an actual checkbook.so again i don't believe anything you post.btw yes i want fries with that LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Repelling Idiots
What grammatical errors did you find in my post u idiot? I'm flipping burgers but you have time to actually write more than 12,000 posts on a debt website.
Oh no I get it your a professional debtor how sad and your teaching others to do the same. Let's clap it up for the smarty pants who thinks he can out smart companies. Your teaching people to take legal ramifications against companies they borrow from, yet it's ironic because your defrauding the same companies you sign contractual agreements of repayment with. Wouldn't that be considered illegal?
I truly don't have time for your insolence I pity your family they'll go through the same cycle of being a broke loser like your self.
You have yet to identify your true occupation and it can't be anything noteworthy otherwise you wouldn't be complaining about how you owe creditors, your high paying executive job would allow you pay for pay day loan ass hole. When did the government start issuing you your Social Security check? When you were diagnosed as young boy of a learning disability I presume because no one with an ounce of intelligence would take your bum ass serious. Please don't let me get started with your paper check theory, are you still living in cavemen times? Mostly everything we do this day in age is electronic, how did they deposit funds? Did they write you a check and mail it you LMFAO my God your stupidity needs it's own show.
Oh and yes I did copy and paste one of my post to help a few people who didn't understand their charges to be helpful because I know none of those people would request a few break down sheet such as I did, but a bird brain like your self automatically assumes I'm working for the company. Why even promote people to stay under financial duress when they can simply solve it by paying their debt?
Anyways this is my last post to you, I can't continuously banter with an ape as your tactics for getting around debt are more primitive than commendable. Let me know if you want anymore bananas, tis the season.
good bye to you then
great get lost as again all you have done is talk down, insult, and lie to us.btw i'm not obligated in any way to state anything about my line of work except it is cust service, and not working for a criminal enterprise.also i use whole words and not the letter.like you instead of u,and are instead r.if i'm an ape i guess apes are more intelligent than you.please keep your word as it will be the first truthful thing you posted if you actually don't respond.in closing for anybody that is seeing this experienced is a plant, and humanoid for great sky.they are illegal and should be treated as such.everything one of their bobo's threatens should be treated as an illegal threat.btw my bum a$$ isn't already set to roast in the seventh circle like you and everybody else even remotely associated with such loans, and further more THE EFTA is a federal act that does mention ACH'S by name.so again hope you keep your word, but i doubt it.
hmmm
I like clockwork orange...
But seriously... 99% of the people on this board stand behind you paul, you answer questions fast and truthfully, were here for help, and are getting it from you, as well as the others... ...I wasnt looking for a way to get out of paying my debts, but a way of getting my paycheck under control, I never knew there were illegal payday lenders... honestly, they are online, why wouldnt they be legal???? I thought.... ...it should have been obvious with the interest they were charging and the tactics they used to take more and more and more. I never knew about any of the state laws, and regulations...
I don't care what some "experienced" person has to say, I'm standing up for myself against these illegals (true in so many ways) , and my hard earned money...
Thanks.
Try Talking to someone
Try to speak with someone about your situation. My younger brother found himself in a similar situation when he could not pay off his loan as he originally planned. He said he understood the terms of the loan when he took it out, but just couldn't manage his payback. He said he answered all the calls so they would know he wasn't trying to avoid them, the he finally told them he just couldn't get caught up will his bills. They worked out a solution that he could live with and it didn't cost him a leg or an arm.
Don't avoid the calls and ask them to help you. You may be surprised at what people will do to help you if you show them you want to take care of you obligations. Especially if you take responsibility for your actions and not try to beat them up for your inability to grasp what you were getting yourself into.
My grandfather taught all of he grand kids that your word is your bond no matter what. My bother believes that and when he took out the loan, he knew the terms and agreed to abide by them. He gave his word. When he found himself in trouble, he didn't avoid the situation he asked the company he owed for help and he got it.
Just talk to whomever is calling you, if they can't help as for someone in their office who can. And this time stick to the agreement you make with them to pay back your debt.
Wishing you the best, owwy;)
shut up
just another shill/bobo/humanoid above me.FYI,just because your typical stupidity was long winded.doesn't make it any less a typical ueseless garbage post.back to the phones drone.you want to sauy that do it over the phone not here where it will be ridiculed.
