Ask MRS to send you a scanned copy of the settlement offer via email or the letter via fax. If they send it via fax, you will, anyhow, have the hard copy of it which you can keep for future use. These collection agencies (CAs) are not bound to send you the letter through mail.

It's good to hear that the CA is willing to send you the settlement offer. There are many collection agencies which will never send you anything. Ask for the fax option.

I dont have a fax machine. I have heard on the web about people getting screwed over because the e-mail was not a legal document because the CA said something was added. I just want to be careful and not get screwed.
