Cash Jar $1000 loan/paid $2612.50
VIP/Qloot $600 loan/paid $1610
ACE Cash Services $$750 loan/paid $1610 (this was 2 loans, one already paid off) I had only made one payment before I closed my account, but with the overage I paid on the first one, I'm hoping they'll apply it.
Ameriloan $850 (2 loans/one paid off)/paid $2475
Also, I have a $1800 loan with CashNet USA which is a CSO in MD. On 10/8 it was due. Actually, I should have had one more extension, but since they are not writing in MD as of 10/1/10, the total with fees was due on 10/8/10. total due was $2270. I called them when I realized it was going to put me in a neg. situation and they split the payment. The second [payment was due 10/22/2010, but I had already closed my account. I know that I need to get an EPP set up with them, but I'm wondering if I can get them to add the interest I already paid to them to reduce what I owe. Since they aren't writing in MD now because of the tightening up of our laws, I'm wondering if they'll do that and be done with it. It would take what I owe from $1100 down to $300 or so. Just curious. Otherwise, I'll be paying them back the full amount. Working on filing the complaints to AG, BBB and FTC. Also, MD Commission on Financial Regulations.
Now that I have written all this out, it makes me sick to think how much I could have used the money I overpaid these jerks with.
Good luck, I hope it all works out in your favor, just remember

If you're in Maryland, I'd also suggesst contacting the Dept. of Financial Regulation in Baltimore, they have people who work with those of us who've had PDL problems. Their contact information is listed on this site w/ the State laws.

Ok, so CashNet USA called me yesterday and I set up EPP in 4 payments. Since they were an CSO and the loan was before 10/1, I'm not going to fight that one. This morning I tried logging into Cash Jar just to see what would happen an this was the message I got :

RE those "you are a great customer" e-mails; can't be anything else but a VERY obvious attempt to get your new checking account information, can it? Unbelieveable.

Yes, unbelievable, but I'm not falling for it. I'm still waiting for responses to my emails. I'll be sending them out again tomorrow night.
Ken, Yes, I read your success story with VIP Cash. What is the email address for the "top" guy at VIP? I overpaid them by $1000 and would love to get a refund from them...actually, any of them. Still makes me sick to think about it.
Has anyone gone back to a PDL that has been PIF to try and get a refund? I had another PDL with Integrity Advance and overpaid them significantly as well. Didn't know if it's worth the effort, especially since PDL's have been illegal in MD for a long time.
Thanks for the support and encouragement.
