Yes, if one illegal pdl has your personal information, they all do. They share information and I believe these illegal lenders and the call centers who call people demanding money and making erroneous threats are ALL connected. Report them to the FTC, BBB and your attorney general.

Read about them in 88notes.com. They are a rip-off. They call themselves a law firm. File cases against the callers.

I received a call from a guy named Kevin today and he said that I owed 900 dollars to US pay day loans and that I didn't pay them back, even though I had a confirmation of the loan payment. I actually believed that I was going to jail when he threatened me because I was not aware of this kind of scam.

I then called my friend who used to be a creditor and he told me to do a couple things to stop the harassment:

1,) File a police report

2,) Call all three credit bureaus (equifax, etc) and have them place a red flag on your social security number (this will be for a total of three months) That way, anytime someone tries to use your social security number, you will be called immediately and notified and you can either confirm or deny the action that is associated with your identity (getting a new phone, car loan, etc.)


I plan on calling them tomorrow to mess with them and tell them that I am going to send them a note... except that when I fax them the note they ask for, I am just going to write in HUGE letters, FUCK YOU I HOPE YOU GO TO HELL YOU DUMB ASS MOTHER FUCKERS. STOP HARASSING PEOPLE AND GET A REAL JOB. IF YOU WERE SMART YOU WOULD HAVE AN INDIAN NAME WITH YOUR INDIAN ACCENT INSTEAD OF HAVING A FAKE ASS AMERICAN NAME WITH AN INDIAN ACCENT.

Last thing: the voicemail is very scripted... this is what he sayd

This message is intended for (wife). (wife). the very second you receive this message I need you or your freaking attorney to return this call. The issue at hand is extremely time sensitive.(starts screaming) My name is David Cooper.(stops screaming) and the hotline to my division is 909-446-3023 I repeat that is 909-446-3023. (starts screaming) Don't disregard this message.(stops screaming) Return the call. Now if you don't return the call (starts screaming) or I don't hear from your attorney (stops screaming) the only thing I can do is wish you good luck as the situation unfolds are you. goodbye.:p

i got the same voicemail, and they gave me fon no# that wasnt even a working no# 877 -859-8451
