Hello Everyone,:) - Forgot to tell you that I live in California.

I need straight talk:( - I have two payday loans, one with Community Credit Services, Inc. "CCS" (Delaware) and the other with Fast & Reliable Cash Advance, LLC (Delaware). I borrowed $800 from CCS and have paid back $800 - 0 has been applied to the principle. I borrowed $500 from Fast & Reliable - paid back $1199, with only $200 being applied to the principle. When I checked with my bank, Fast&Reliable transferred the advance to me from an account called "ONLINE TRANSFER FROM COHEN M REF #IBEJR5ZJWW BUSINESS CHECKING PAYDAY TRANSFER" - they actually have their business accounts with the same bank I have my checking account at.

Both of these payday lenders are internet based and both deducted renewing interest from my account, yesterday. After looking at the numbers, I believe that I have satisfied the debt to Fast & Reliable, twice over - not so sure about CCS. Do I actually owe them interest still? Maybe - I did borrower, right?

I am looking for advice on how to END this cycle and to climb out of the black hole I have CREATED. Any advice will be helpful.

:confused:Can I block the ACH for Fast & Reliable even if one of the companies uses the same bank my checking account is at?

I just spoke to my bank and revoked the pre-authorized payment for Fast & Reliable. The bank said that my revocation will only be in place for six months. I know that I need to write the letters today (email, fax and send them Certified), file my complaint with both the AG and BBB and request a refund from Fast & Reliable. If what Wells Fargo says hold true, then 6 months will give me enough time to estabilsh myself another checking account. What do you think about my strategy? Also, I thought I would reverify that the hold is actually in place on Monday before I send out the cease and desist, revocation and refund letters.

Community Credit Services is also known as money2advance.
They are NOT licensed to lend in Ca., they are required to be or the loan is considered illegal.

Fast & Reliable Cash Advance, LLC
They aren't licensed to lend in your state either.

An ACH block will only work temporarily because illegal lenders will change their name and debit your account, only once they learn you are aware of their legality, they will debit as much money as they can, over and over again under several different names, so as you can see, this is not a good solution. The worst part of this is, once they have your account information they will share it with other illegal lenders, so the only sure way to protect yourself would be to close that account asap! Oh no, don't send out any letters until your account is secure, once they receive word that complaints have been filed they will take money from your account under different names.

And yes, I would definitely file complaints in Delaware. Also file with your state Attorney General's office, and by the way, this is a good time to file complaints with state officials since it's election year, so get that complaint in asap!

First of all, I would close your account ASAP so the bank doesn't "accidentally" let something slip through. I would write a letter to Fast & Reliable (I had a loan with them too) telling them they are illegal in your state and that you want a refund for the difference between what you borrowed and what you paid.

They sent me a refund a week after receiving my letter.

When you fax your documents you will receive a faxed confirmation that the fax was sent but nothing more. Although it does cost to send certified mail I've found it best to send via email, fax and certified mail. Some times when you try to email a lender the email will bounce back undeliverable and that is because their email is set up to only send and not receive.

From personal experience, putting a block on your account is not fail safe! Once a lender figures out they can't withdraw out of one name they will use another and they all seem to use several names. I would close your account, as that is the only way to stop them.

I took everyone's advice and closed my account! Does anyone know if there is a thread here that provides the business addresses for the payday lenders?

I am preparing letters now and will send them by way of email, fax and certified mail return receipt. I am also simultaneously lodging formal complaints with the AG in Delaware and California, as well as with the BBB by using their online forms or should I call? Oh, I am asking for a refund from Fast & Reliable and CCS aka Money2Advance. Guys, I looked at my past statements determined that I've paid more than $2300 in interest for 2 PDLs. I am asking for both a PIF and a Refund. Regarding Extrafunds, I simply want to pay back the balance of the original principal of $120.

Everybody, Thank YOU so much for your suggestions and support.

Peace and Blessing.

be very careful. I had an account being compromised, and so I closed it and now two payday companies are swearing out warrants for me becuase they said I perpetrated a fraud by closing the account out and they are treating these payments as a check being returned account closed. This is a mess. I had to travel out west to get to my daughters wedding, I was desparate and now I have dug a big black hole and can't get out and could end up going to jail.
