The account was in Washington at the time and now I live in another state. They closed the debt to collection a year ago. Is this a Washington thing and how long is the statute of limit there..?? or is it in this state nearby?? The collectors cant do interest can they?Can they get away with that??How long at the most for this to die..??

I am sure you have heard that a whole bunch of fake Cingular debt was sold when ATT
dissolved Cingular. Its on the net and involves outright fraud.
