I ve been over my head in PDL's for a long time.
Its reached the point where i can no longer pay basic bills.
I simply cannot afford to keep paying these PDL's.
They are storefronts in Kansas, all are legal to my knowledge.
Can/will they bother my references,workplace,family,etc???
This would cause me a TON of stress.
I hope someone might have past experience with this.
Will some of the PDL companies sue or some dont?
I assume it takes 30-60 days before they take you to court?
I was so relieved when i read on here that i can send a Cease and Desist..
Letter and then i found out its only for third party collections.
I wonder how willing some PDL places are to work payments and i guess..
I will find out soon.
Any Advice would be great,Im ready to get out of this Hell.

Welcome to you! We are glad you are here. You have made the first step in getting out of this hell by realizing that you need to make a change. We have all been in your shoes.
In order to really help you, I need you to do the following: List every PDL with the amount of the loan and the amounts you have actually paid, counting each rollover.
In reading your post, I think you are in Kansas and that you have storefronts? This is a little more urgent, but it still can be fixed, as most storefronts are indeed licensed in their states.
You have some work to do now. The first step in getting your life back is closing your bank account and getting a new one. We have all done this, trust me. Once you do this, do NOT, do NOT give out the account number to your PDL's.
You then need to contact each PDL to discuss repayment plans. Document, take names and record dates and times of each call. We can help you with this stage.
Good luck and keep us posted. We have all made a first post like you and we care.

Advance America 575.00
Check n Go 450.00
Speedy Cash Flex-Loan 475.00
Quickcash 575.00
EZ Payday Advance?400$
Pawn Shop 575.00
Have a Title loan as well.

Some of these places i have had loans with for more than a year.
Closing your bank account with outstanding loans in kansas is legal?
I know you cant get in trouble for having a PDL check returned in Kansas.
Can anyone with experience tell me how bad the collection pratices are?
Im already under a ton of stress and i dont want myself, family, workplace, etc Getting non-stop calls. Is there a way to end those?
Will they leave references, etc alone if i keep contact.
Im hoping they will work with me on payments.
Kansas laws dont seem as good for consumers as some states.

Criminal action is prohibited for owing a payday lender in your state, so closing your account wouldn't result in criminal charges..
Have you tried requesting an EPP from any of these lenders, some are members of the CFSA, read about it at the link below:

I already used the payment plan on most of these.Plus i dont find payment plans really help.
You end up paying 145.00 in Payments vs the 75$ fee and you are short more $$$
I really think i need to close my bank account and work with PDL's on payments if i can.
Im in deep trouble and bills arent getting paid.
Im not sure how the PDL will respond to offers to make payments.
