Hi, I followed the advice from all of you regarding the 11 payday loans I have. I can't beleive it but it happened so quickly I could not believe. Anyway I sent my letters to all of the jokers (mycahsnow.com, sureadvance, GECC, 500fastcash, Unitedcashloan,s summit, 247greentstreet, cashjar, cashspot, loanshoponline.com and sagamore) How long does it take them to respond? I emailed and faxed them all as I could not find real physical addresses. I also went ahead and filed complaints on all of them with BBB, and my state attorney's general. I did not wait as some of them are already not playing nice. I am working on the FTC ones now and hsould have them all complete ina day or so. They have robbed me of over $8,000 in interest. I live in New York and really did not know this was illegal until distraught one day I came across this site and found the light. I already have received one bogus foreign collector call, I received a letter froma collection agency AAM from sureadvance and they also have sent me a certified letter which I need to pcik up tomorrow and a few emails stating I must abide by Delaware law which I know is not true. Has anyone gotten all of theirs settled? I have been threatedn with money laundering, jail, bank fraud, and that "something badly will be imposed onme> I was also told they all will reprot me to the thre credit bureaus too and that I should ask my family for the money.

File a complaint with your state Attorney general, now is a good time due to the upcoming elections, make a detailed report and make sure you include a copy of your payday loan laws which clearly say they are prohibited.

If they do report it to the CRA's, just dispute it with a copy of your state payday loan laws, it will be removed.

Follow Shazzers' good advice about filing the complaints. You might also want to file a complaint with your State financial regulatory agency. As far as the telephone calls from the PDLs, well, it goes without saying you're going to get pestered to death by some of them. Hang in their, stand your ground. For your own records, keep copies of any correspondence you get from them, including e-mails etc. (as they're not legal in your State though, you probably won't get many things in writing from these bums). Many PDL's aren't even located in the United States; I had a few saying "they were coming to get me;" I told 'em to come on over, I'd be waiting!
