PDL phone numbers - getting the word out

Every so often there will be posts here asking if any of the posters recognize a telephone number. What I usually do is "google" the number to see what's out there. As many of you know, there's several phone number ID sites available; perhaps if any of us know that a particular phone number is a PDL, we could post on the phone ID sites (such as whocallsme, etc) that the # IS a PDL or a scammer collection agency and provide some information? And maybe if it's permitted on the website, that if people ARE having PDL problems, there's a site called debtconsolidationcare that can help? Seems it would be one more way to get the word out that there IS life after PDL's?


Excellent idea, the only problem is we have to deactivate the link per the TOS. I know several sites you can search for phone numbers, I try to post them (deactivated) or name the site to search numbers (when I think about it). It might be worth talking to an Admin and request that we start a reference topic (self help) with web addresses of these search sites, I think it will be fine as long as there are no solicitations on these websites and we deactivate the link (remove the "www." and use the 'deactivation' icon at the top of the post.

Since it's your idea, you could send Jason a PM (even guests can send PM's now I think).
