MBNA debt payment

I have a MBNA account. It is "debt collection" I called the debt collector of my situation and how much I can per month. I received advice to pay the holder of the original debt with a letter explaining the situation. They have accepting and receiving monthly payment for the past three years. I just recently receive a letter from FIA card services. They are asking to making correction to my payment. I am confused and don't know what to do. Please can you help?

I also had an MBNA account (now it's Bank of America). FIA Services does the collection for BofA. I would call them and see if you can work out a payment plan or settle with them.
