How do I know if I over paid a payday loan

I have a payday loan with payment direct and they keep taking payment of 89.00 out every 2 weeks and it is now started to cause me problems because I am falling short on other bills. I have called them to try and set up a payment plan where I can I pay less to pay it off but they refuse. Is there something I can do. I live in louisiana and the loan is for 200.

payment direct is not legal period.how many 89.00 debits has this illegal lender taken?if it meets or exceeds the 200.00 then you owe nothing further.go to a sticky titled DEALING WITH ILLEGAL LENDERS at the top of this forum.it will give you everything you need as far as templates for letters and complaints.first thing though is to secure your money.either put your account on "deposits only,or close that account and open a new one.go to the sticky as it contains info we all have used.
