PDL Help

Wish me luck! Going to close my account today. I am still a little confused about how to do the whole ach thing. I searched the threads here and there is soooo much info. it can be overwhelming. My plan is to go to the bank with my letters in hand. Tell them the account needs to be closed and ACH from the companies stopped as stated in my letters. I haven't actually sent the letters to the companies yet because I do not want them to ransack that account before I can close it.

If anyone can help, I am still questioning how address the one company I still owe, Blue Hole Fianancial. Do I draft a different letter to them stating we need to make arrangements??? How do I pay them without them getting my new account info?

I am also interested in anyone that has dealt with padaywiz or collect500 and been successful????

WEnt to BOA. They seemed helpful. But a hard stop on account, reported fraudulant activity. They said that nothing can go in (or out). After reading everyone's stories here, I am skeptical that the freeze will be that easy. All I can do is wait. I will send letters out to all 4 pdl companies tomorrow morning. Now I can only wait and see what happens. I am dreading them calling my place of employment, but I am sure they will! I let my office manager know that I am going through someone trying to hack into my account, so hopefully she will just brush them off! LOL. I will update when I have more to update!

I knew it was too good to be true! Checked my "closed hard freeze" (supposed) account this morning. It says I am like 888,888 in the negative! WTF???? Is this something that happens when a hard freeze occurs????? We sat and made sure every pending transaction was cleared IN the bank branch. BOA is ridiculous. Even if this is some debit that they put on the account to close it, they should have warned me yesterday so I didn't wake up with a headache! LOL. there is literally one debit charge made yesterday to IDK who for 888,888!! I will contact them as soon as they open and update! BTW I don't even know if anyone is reading this but it is kind of theraputic.

Also, I will send out my letters today once the bank acct mess is cleared up and update with who I hear from or not.

So BOA says that the 888888 is what they put on all accounts that are hard frozen. anyone ever heard of that? I am not gonna dwell on it just yet because I need my energy to deal with "letter day" for the PDL's. Question: Should I wait until Friday to send the letters and make sure this checking account is truly frozen? Or just send the letters today? The PDL's are not due to come out unitl next week. I hope someone is reading this and can answer. This whole process is draining. I did stop my Direct Deposit from going to that account so at least that is a good thing, I will have a real check this payday. :)

I say why wait? Send the letters now and worst case scenario is that they attempt to ACH an account that is 888,888 in the negative. With your situation on file with BofA, you won't be liable for the fees.

I am with BofA, and will be going through the same thing next week...closing the account and such, and I am pretty sure that I am not going to re-open with them. They seem like a big hassle due to their ever-growing size. I'm going to go with a smaller, regional bank...First Niagara.

I need to take care of blue hole financial what type of letter do I draft when i still owe them?

What type of lender is Blue hole Financial, are they an installment type of lender, what state are you in?

Never mind, I did some research on them, they aren't even located in the U.S.! Their address is:

Send them the same letter you sent to the rest of the illegal lenders, all you owe them is the principal amount you borrowed less any payments and interest. There's no negotiating with them, they must meet YOUR terms.
