wrote a payday loan in Washingtion state in 2003.
lost my job.
recieved phone call form collector for much higher ammount than loan. Can they still collect. statute for debt is 6 years in Washington.
they are calling it a bad check and threatening to arrest me. wouldn't mind paying original debt but they want double.

If it has been more than 6 years from the date of your last paym
If it has been more than 6 years from the date of your last payment, send them a FOAD and tell them to hit the road.
