do yourself a favor and NEVER get a credit card. you can use a debit card. if you can't afford it, don't buy it. i wish to god i had learned this lesson while i still had a good job and had put the money away instead of paying it in interest to the banks. i look at all the crap around my house that i don't use and don't need and wish i had just NOT spent that money.
