They are all illegal lenders. You can only stop them one way, and that is to close your account because it will never be safe again. If you don't want to close your account then you will have to deal with the consequences. These are criminals, and now that they have all of your account information, so does every other Internet lender. CLICK HERE to find out how to deal with illegal lenders.

Thanks... I did get in touch with my credit union again today. I explained my situation and was told that since i still have some outstanding that web bill pays that have not posted, that it's better for me to put stop payments on the ach's that are supposed to post for these pdl's. As long as they use the same routing number that have used in the past, it will secure them from sending anything through for 30 days... They said that if i open up another acct at the same credit union, the ach's can't get posted to that acct....
I have sent in the psperwork for relief, llc to assist me. But i am going to try to go at it on my own and hope that it's not overwhelming.
Thanks for your help and the link to the info.

You can do what you're comfortable with but why would you pay a debt relief company to do what you can easily do yourself? Also, you need to understand that you can NOT negotiate with an illegal lender, nor can a debt relief company! Illegal lenders are CRIMINALS! They will tell this debt relief company anything they want to hear but in the end the outcome will be the same, they will suck every penny out of you that they can, and so will the debt relief company!
Illegal lenders are NOT entitled to interest and fees because they do not have the proper licensing! They are only entitled to the principal amount you borrowed less any payments you have already made! And nothing more!
Also, why would you pay to have stop payments placed on these lenders when you have every right to enforce the EFTA (Electronic Funds Transfer Act) FREE! It is your right to revoke any and ALL ACH's with your credit union and they are required by federal law to adhere to the law! Placing a stop payment on these lenders will only work temporarily, they will simply change their names and debit your account for even larger amounts!
Please read the link I gave you on how to deal with unlicensed lenders!

Thanks, Shazzer.... I did end up closing my acct today. The Rep at the credit union gave me mis-information... I spoke to someone else there and she did tell me the same thing that you said... I appreciate the link and your response.

From my experience once they receive the C & D you will hear from them via email, phone. Now that your account is closed file a complaint with the AG, FTC and BBB in CA. Send copies of these complaints to your PDL's as well. If you have paid back all of the principle amount borrowed, send them a demand letter for a refund and PIF via email, fax or mail. Do not communicate with them over the phone. You need all communications in writing. Also revoke any wage assignments you might have.

I wouldn't take any of their calls, all they will do is harass and threaten you, just hang up if they call, don't say a word. Reply and respond to emails only.
