:confused:The problam I have is every time a make a settlemet with a Credit card company and am paying on it, out of the blue they just up and sell the debt to another CA and the new CA will not keep the same settlement what can I do

Hi, Have you made the settlement agreement in writing? I think you have done a verbal agreement with the credit card company. Verbal agreements are not legally binding. So, the card company can do this without being taken to court. I think it will be better if you get the settlement agreement in writing. Once you get the settlement agreement in writing, the the card company will think twice before selling your debt to another CA. You should keep a copy of the settlement agreement with you. this will help you to prove that you have settled the debt with the card company. You can also contact an attorney to legal advice from him .
