So as I am reading through the forums, let me get this straight: internet pdls are illegal in alabama (and from what I can see most charge more for fees than alabama allows)? So I only have to pay the principle that I borrowed, which i have no problem doing, it's just that they were eating my paychecks every two weeks and I have next to nothing left. My bank account is currently at what they referred to as 'no debits allowed' -is that enough or do i need to do more. Any advice would be helpful Thank you.:o

I went into the bank & they have put a hold on my account-I can receive my direct deposit but no debits are allowed through. I hesitated to close my account because I owe a couple of legitimate storefronts that I will not be able to clear until my next payday. I spoke at length with the rep. from the Ala. state banking dept. and (suprise!) all the ipdls I gave her were all unlicensed in Ala. and (suprise!) she was familiar with a few. She also gave me the same information I have been getting from you all :D and instructed me to send her all documents that I have/share with the pdls. As of right now I am current but due dates are 11/24 & 11/26-I guess I will be hearing from them soon. I am now beginning the process of sending them the letters that are recommended on here. I feel like I can actually breathe for the first time in a long while & it will feel good to see a whole paycheck especially in time for Thanksgiving-I certainly have something to be thankful for!! I know I still have a fight ahead but THANKS SO MUCH to everyone on here for the advice-so glad I found this site!!
