ok so collect500 deposited my account with the 400 I asked for!!!! I immediatley called the bank...(that account is SUPPOSED to have a hard freeze no ins and outs!)

Now like the 30th customer serv. rep at BOA has told me a different story. So now supposedly hard freeze means no debits from account and account can't ever be reopened...BUT I can get the money collect 500 deposited! I have to wait till it clears so we will see...has anyone had this happend before?????

as for the difficult company Paydaywiz...I sent a follow up letter stating that since they were soooo nasty in our correspondance, I was going to contact their state licinsing company and sent our emails to them (in which they had been very rude and nasty)

they responded saying that they would give me the 200 but ONLY in a bank acct. Well since BOA has assured me that no one can debit the acct, I told them go ahead and put it in there.

We will see if that actually happens. Either way , paydaywiz did finally send the PIF letter.

No my worry is this BOA acct. if these customer service reps. are lying....I am gonna hit the ROOF.

I can actually see the credit from collect500 and they have sent a letter stating it is for overpayment.
Does this email sent from collect500 qualify as a PIF letter?

This email is to confirm that you now have no outstanding balance on your account. The account is closed and paid in full and there will be no further collection efforts by Collect500 or any of its affiliates on this account. Your $400 ACH overpayment has been processed.
Warm Regards,

Stacey,

Store front PDL's are legal lenders and you have to pay them back according to your contract. Internet ones if illegal you can demand a refund and PIF letter. I've done this and sent a long a copy of the complaint filed with the AG in my state and so far I've received one refund and another one on the way. They will try we need to deposit the refund into your account. Oh no you don't! Cashiers check, money order but no account information. I don't blame you I wouldn't trust BOA. The only way to stop access to your bank account is close it. You can block a lender but they will use different names and different money amounts to get around blocks.

Buzzette,

Both companies did deposit the money in my account AND my bank allowed me to pick the money up today. The account had a fraud hold on it, but it is now closed.

I explained to BOA that these companies might still try and debit the account, they said that this can't happen BUT
we will see. I don't think it can be this easy! I just sent my letters to 3 companies last week, I have 2 PIF letters with refunds and one company is still giving me the run around!

Many storefronts are CFSA members and will set up extended payment plans but only if you ask. They are not required to do so if you are in default. They often will anyway depending on the state and the company. For example Amscot in Florida will work with people in any circumstance but they have to bounce your check once. If your tell them it won't clear they will try anyway. Once you pay them off your OK again with them.
