OK OK OK !!!! COLLECTION CLLS ARE NOT HARRASSMENT!! just like telling a collector to stop contacting you or to take you off their lists....it doesnt work like that...when you signed the contract for the credit you agreed to take responsibilty of your debt... the only way to stop is to SEND IT IN WRITING to the collection agency...

I agree with your point, Ash. But the point is that some collectors call without having legitimate details of the accounts and pursue to pay them. Instead of proving that they are holding the account details, they just want to get paid in anyway. Moreover, they sound so aggressive in their calls, isn't that harassment and that also without any legitimate reason?
