Ok, sorry to disturb you all on a Thanksgiving day but I am in distress and need your immediate help. I just got a call from my HR manager who is also a friend of mine to let me know that Ameriloans have sent a wage assignment mail for me to my HR manager. I stay in Florida and know that they are illegal in my state. From what I have read here, I know that wage assignments are voluntary and I have revoked all assignments.

In spite of that, how can they send this mail to my HR department? What shall I do now?

If you have given the copy of wage assignment revocation letter to your payroll department, then that will settle the matter. You don't have to worry.

As for your second question, illegal lenders like Ameriloans are under no obligation to follow any rules. So, it's not surprising that they tried to take money from you even after getting the revocation letter from you.
