NJ Borrower in Trouble.
Date: Fri, 11/26/2010 - 08:15
I have just received a call from a company claiming to have a case against me in nj for a payday loan that I have not paid on. The loan was for 200.00 I believe by CMG Group LLC, and I apparently owe them 700.00. These people have my work number, as well as my drivers license and bank account info. The company that contacted me about the debt was Lombardo, Davis, and Goldman. I spoke with a woman named Ms. Pratt and apparently I have a legally binding agreement to pay back the money. The origianl loan agreemement was for 200.00 with a 60.00 interest fee payment. What should I do? I am willing to pay the 260, but NOT 500.
All payday loan lending are illegal in the state of New Jersey.
All payday loan lending are illegal in the state of New Jersey. You should only pay them $ 200 i.e. the original loan amount. Check the following link to learn how you should deal with illegal lenders: http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/illegal-pdl-dealings.html.
