Hi all. I cannot tell you how helpful this site has been to me!!! I had 5 PDL's total. (3 internet, 1 Store front, and 1 installment with TC)Those 3 internet have been wiped away AND I got refunds from 2! The store front will be on an epp very soon !As for the installment...Bank account was closed and I knew I had to pay think cash because they are backed by a bank and legal. SOI bought a prepaid gift card (visa). Called on my due date, the card kept getting declined! So I go and buy another prepaid debit (the gold one that has your name on it once they send it in mail) that also gets declined! And I made sure both were activiated. So at this point I am beyond upset because now I have wasted my money TWICE! and my payment is late! So I wrote a nice email to the think cash people saying that I was told I could pay this way but I keep getting declined. I get an email back on Sat. asking me to call in and ta da! The card now works! has anyone else had trouble paying with a prepaid to thinkcash? I am thinking it was the way the reps were putting it in or maybe they were still trying to get bank account numbers (which they did try but no way). I am worried that now I will go thru this with each payment and have to pay late fees (i don't know if I was charged late yet or not)! BTW my payments on my other loans would have been due Friday and none have successfully hit my closed account yet...so far so good!

Paulchahill, does ThinkCash have to activate the card? They never told me that. After my next pay day I will be able to do it BEFORE the date, but for the Dec. 10 payment I will have to do it ON that date again because I was soooo behind on all my bills, rent, etc. due to all my PDLs. So I will have to pay TC the day I get paid, maybe it won't be as difficult now that I have the reloadable card... Either way, this site helped me get out of my TRAP! I just called my storefront and my epp will be at an amount I can handle also!

I think what Paulcahill tried to say is, you should talk to Think Cash so that your card is not declined. The problem with companies like Think Cash is, they will take all sorts of illegal steps but you cannot do anything since they are backed by a bank. It really hurts.

grostch1,

they finally did accept the payment and I did talk to them LOTS that day. they just kept saying well it keeps getting declined. but like I said AFTER I sent an email the payment all of a sudden went through. I was wondering if anyone else had that issue with TC.

I have an account with thinkcash and I purchased a Wal Mart money card, load my payment and call them. I've never had any trouble with it being declined. Even after I received the perm one in the mail with my name on it. Perhaps the person helping you at think didn't know what they were doing? This is the best way to pay your loan and not giving them your new banking information.
