Hello all, I have been looking for an answer to my question but I just cannot find one. Here is my situation, 52,000 in CC debt (B of A) and 8000 with Chase. I am on a program with Chase for 200 a month to pay that off. Its the B of A accounts that I am in trouble with. I did not pay and I am currently 6 months behind , the good part is that I got a settlement offer from them for 15,000. My problem is due to a pending divorce I do not have any way to put together 15K. I have tried all options, family, pensions, etc, no to all. I am barely scraping the 980 a month payment now.
My question is, does anyone know of a company that can settle this and take payments of around a thousand for 3 years to settle this off? I guess it is really a loan in a way. any ideas are welcome Jerry

Usually debt settlement companies charge a fee for their services. So, it is advisable to settle your debts on your own. Try to negotiate with BOA to lower the debt amount further. However, if you really want to get help from a settlement company, then visit the DebtCC Ranking Chart. You'll get all the requisite information about the settlement companies from there.
