I dealt with both Eastside and One Click. I sent them both letters AFTER closing my checking account, telling them they were illegal in my state and that I was only going to pay the amount I borrowed. Eastside is a b*tch, they will not work with you, but will eventually turn you over to collection. Once they do, you just request validation from the CA and proof they are authorized to collect the debt. I did this and haven't heard from CA for Eastside in a year.
