Hi Iam in pa I have 3 loans
I do not know the amount I borrowed But I have been paying for a long time over a year
paydaymax
oneclickcash
magnum
One is saying I owe them almost $2000 with interest that is magnum please let me know what to do
Are these legal this in pa and how do I find the laws for pa ?

all three are illegal in PA and therefore you only owe the principle borrowed.anything debited in so-called fees gets deducted from the principle.your AG website should have the the pdl laws, but it might not be updated.you see until march of 2009 there was a loophole in the PA PDL laws that stated that if a ipdl was licensed in another state then those laws apply, but in march of 2009 that loophole was repealed meaning all pdl's are illegal in PA.first if you haven't closed or secured your bank account do it.then go to the sticky titled DEALING WITH ILLEGAL LENDERS at the top of this particular forum.just by reading your post i can say you have overpaid all three and not only do you not owe,but all three owe you refunds.go to the sticky.it will give you everything you need to get these places out of your life for good.

If it's turned over to a collection agency the chances are the collection agency is either a bottom feeder or they have no clue they are dealing with an illegal debt, that's where you will come in. Educate yourself of the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act) so that you will be equipped to handle the situation appropriately. I rather doubt it will be turned over though, CLICK HERE to find out how to deal with illegal lenders.
