This post is concerning TLC Fast Cash. I applied for a really small payday loan, being well within the prescribed qualifications (job, checking account, direct deposit, etc.) They called to start the process. I filled out the app with sensitive info and they called again to confirm SS#, etc., saying that the loan (for $200) is ok'd. I logged onto the site as instructed and found my app was denied, which gave me the strong impression that they are collecting sensitive information for illegitimate purposes. Have you seen similar comments from others? Also, after a few hours, I am receiving a bunch of unrelated telemarketing calls on my cellphone (auto loan, college instruction, etc.)...

This is one tlc fast cash complaint, which almost everyone makes. Hopefully you didn't give them your bank account information, if you did, you may want to close it or ask your financial institution to reassign a new account number. Any personal information on the Internet is bound to end up in the wrong hands, and especially a payday lender.

I have heard a lot of negative stories about TLC Fast Cash. As Shazzers posted, if you have given them your bank information, then you will have to close your account as it will never be safe again.

Same thing happened to me. Filled out a form online, was denied. My cell phone BLEW up with Emails, phone calls, and text messages. TLC Fast Cash also decided to deposit $350 into my account. I emailed them and told them I dont need yor money, and they said, when you applied on line you agreed to have them look for a lender, with your e-signature. Luckily they agreed to pull the money back out of my account. THEY ARE SHARKS....

Yes, you are lucky but the bad thing is, your account information has been compromised. They might have pulled out their deposit from your account as of now, but it's not guaranteed that they won't do it again. It will be better if you can close your account.

Well it has been two months since TLC Fast Cash Cash did that, and they pulled it within 12 hours of depositing it. I am hoping nothing happens, cuz I do not want to open a new checking account again,....Is tlc fast cash a scam? Fingers crossed. Does anybody know tlc fast cash address or tlc fast cash fax number. I have not yet been able to find out the tlc fast cash phone number. Could have contacted them if I had their phone number.

I don't know tlc fast cash address or the tlc fast cash customer service number. However, If I were you, I would go ahead and open a new account at a different financial institution.

beware of telemarters/collectors calling you saying that they are going to file a suite against you for not paying your loan off. When in fact you never put in for a loan with the company they represent. This just happened to me. My first question was: what company are you with, my second; where are you calling from, third when was this loan made in my name, next what is the ss on the loan, and last for how much was the loan? The ss was incorrect. The month I took out a loan was not right. I then asked for a copy of the loan agreement. Lets just say I haven't seen that yet.

This company is positively ingaged in loan sharking (TLCFASTCASH.COM) . I have attempted to pay the $200 loan in full for over 3 months. Every time I try calling I don't get a answer. They have taking out of my account over $474.00. I am force to closed my account because of this. If there is any legal action that I can take please let me know. I am afraid that there ways of doing business will ruin my credit score.

Don't know about legal action, but get that checking account closed or at the VERY least, put on "deposit only" status. Even if you put a stop payment on their name, these companies usually go by several different names or share your information with others, so there's no guaranteeing your account will be safe. Please read the sticky on this forum about closing your bank account and when you go to the bank, be sure to talk to the manager and explain what happened.

I took out a payday loan for 200.00 and today I was called by crime prevention stating if I did not pay 400.00 they were going to send me to court. They called me at least three times and when I called them back they did not have my information. They asked me for my social security # to pull up the account. They said I took the loan out in September for 400.00. What should I do?

First of all, NEVER NEVER NEVER admit to owing a debt to a voice on the phone! Second, there is NO such place call "Crime Prevention" who collects debts!!! Last, owing a debt is not a crime, nor can you be prosecuted in a criminal court of law, CLICK HERE to find out how to deal with collection agency phone calls!

I was called today on my work phone about me owing $500 to TLC Fast cash. I have no recollection of dealing with this company and I highly doubt that I have delt with this company in the past. Now mind you, these are people of Indian decent contacting me telling me that they are going to file a suit against me if I do not write and fax them a letter stating that I want to settle this dispute outside of court. I have been contacted by fraudulent companies before. Usually real online loan companies do not file suit against customers. They allow you to set up a payment plan while these frauds try to get all the cash at once or large sums of cash at once. I also called the TLC Fast Cash customer service line. They asked for my social # and said they don't have anything on file for me at all. PLEASE BEWARE AND! DON'T GIVE YOUR HARD EARNED CASH TO THESE FRAUDS!!!

I have the same problem with tlcfastcash. I call and always get someone named Bruce. They keep hitting my bank account and the money is not in there and so the bank is charging me for return fees and so is tlcfastcash so now tlc is saying that I now owe over 500 for not having the money in the bank when they try to withdraw it. The loan was for 200. I tried to find a way to pay them in full so that I can pay back the bank and close that account and tlc would not give me any options to pay them back. They said they are not required to have a mailing address and they do not give out a fax number unless it pertains to bankruptcy.

Everytime I call I get a man named Bruce as well and he is rude. Says there is no way to pay the debt except from electronic withdrawl from my bank account. What a scam. I also had a loan with another online company and when I called them to pay another way they told me how to do it by money gram so I know TLCFastCash is a ripoff they just want into everyones bank account.

It was happenned to me last year in december when I need an urgent loan. I saw online some adds of loans company and I asked for details. So, somebody from TLC fast cash called me first. A guy voice, rushing all the time, tell me how to get on the tlc website and complete that and that informations...not given me time to read all the agreements request. The big mistake I've done was, that I putted my bank account info and after this, when I read the agreement and % they will charge me for $200, I abandonned the aplication...was to late...they send me the money in account. After this they rip me off : for 200 I paid after 4 weeks $170 plus the loan $200. But this not was the final...they charged me after one month - I didn't take other loan- a 49,99 monthly fee for been in their database. I didn't see this fee in Agreement...and they put the check - unsigned by me- in my account. What was worse...I didn't see any pendings of these check...-US Bank- I coudn't stop this check. After I saw the US Bank gave them my money without any question I called the phone was on the check who made the withdraw and stop the "relation" with this TLC fast cash company. But is not over, now they call me for paying late fee...they said the for the loan...but maybe is the fee- I don't know. Who was calling me lately - didn't know exactly what he talk about, he didn't know when I took the loan and other details...Now I have to look every morning if is something wrong with my account. I can't close my account because I'm wating for my return taxes from IRS so, I'm stock and I am thrilling every day..for not finding any money in my account. I have to really open an other account.

I also took out a $200.00 loan. I was told I had to pay back $220.00 which I agreed. I was having a dispute with my bank at the time they tried to pull the money out of my account. Therefore I had insf. I did not hear from TLC to get this straightened out. Instead I hear from this fly by night law firm stating they were collecting on TLC behave.

I have tried to contact TLC to get this taken care of. Have not heard from them.
