Date: Thu, 12/02/2010 - 08:36
Like so many others, I have dug myself a HOLE here, not realizing what I am doing.
I want to know if someone can help me distinguish if I have received loans from illegal payday lenders for the state of ohio. I am also curious as to how I figure out, who these companies are and what their addresses are. Thanks so much for your assistance.

These illegal PDL's continue to loan because no one is regulating them. Some are located out of the country, they hide behind so many names, proving to be difficult in stopping them. Any PDL that is legal shows on their front page of the application which states they can not lend to. Even the applications you fill out on line that are sent to several lenders it will state which states they can't lend in as well. The best thing to do is stay away from PDL's.
